Partners Ruffin Rodrique and Peter Sclafani proudly serve a wide range of delicious Italian dishes, plus phenomenal steaks, chicken and seafood, all with a Creole flair. In fact, when it comes to seafood, nobody does fish better in Baton Rouge. As executive chef, Sclafani excels in unique preparations of veal, fish and pork and is famous for taking traditional New Orleans sauces to “another level.” You’ll find South Louisiana’s rich tradition and diversity of food styles explored in our menu staples as well as our never-ending array of dazzling specials. Authenticity is paramount to our chefs, which is why we take such care in the details. During the season, we often drive to New Orleans to select the choicest Creole Tomatoes for our sauces and Cedar Plank Redfish. We use a local farmer in Ponchatoula who grows mayhaws for our signature salads and you’ll always find Southern favorites like Vidalia Onions in a variety of our dishes. It’s the care, quality and attention to the finer points like these that helps Ruffino’s rise above the rest. In addition to an outstanding meal, Ruffino’s proudly offers our guests an extensive wine cellar featuring a variety of rare vintages and great values.
